题15:Education institutions should actively encourage their students to choose fields of study that will prepare them for lucrative careers.
As education develops, students now have multiple choices involve information, technology, economics, MBA, to name a few, all of which have tremendous impacts on every aspect of modern and seem to promise a lucrative career for those in the field. Some people argue that educational institutions should actively encourage their students to choose fields of study. That will prepare them for those mentioned lucrative careers. However, from my own perspectives, this is not a feasible suggestion.
Admitted, it is reasonable to ask education for maximum of payoff since education itself is, in fact, an investment of time and money in future life and career. Educational institutions will do a favor for both individuals and industries if they can function well to bridge the gap between students and markets.
Nevertheless, problems emerge as we carefully examine the feasibility of the suggestion. Initially, an increasing number of students pursue the lucrative careers, which indeed has triggered a series of problems. For instance, comfort and well payment of civil servants render the competitions in this field unprecedentedly fierce. Consider the example of my brother. Ten years ago, his major was computer programming which was less hot than in this day and age. With the rapid development of globalization, computer has become an indispensable part in our daily life, which enhances the profits and competitions in this career,. Consequently, he switched to another job because he feels exhausted that he lives in a world where" jungle rules" make "dog -eat-dog".
Additionally, some students are not interested in the lucrative career. Providing that educational institution encourage them to prepare for lucrative careers, their innovation and imagination are stifled which provokes the brain drain.
Ultimately, supposing that the whole people pursue the lucrative careers, the bad habits which hereby paraphrase that money comes first will be established. We will do our utmost to reject the dross because the conceptions. There are some kinds of monkey business going on in our society. In order to work on the lucrative careers, people hamstring each other by some mean approaches. Therefore, education institutions are not supposed to encourage students to be in pursuit of lucrative careers.
In a nutshell, interest is our best teacher. Education institution can focus solely on arousing our curiosity and laying a solid foundation. Some predominant strategy is made by government to alleviate the stress of work. And I am deeply convinced, only in this way, can we embrace a brilliant vista.
