求商科Phd定位

请各位帮忙一位朋友定位，对商科PHD研究感兴趣，因为是女生想将来留在学校：

本科对外经贸法律，成绩81%；
研究生牛津大学法律与金融，Merit；
在中央部委法律工作3年，国际组织2年，大券商风险管理1年，现在内资律所。

GMAT 700+，研究经历只有学校的dissertaion...，发过1篇国内国际性论坛法律类论文。有数学和微观经济学基础，请问可以申请什么层次的学校，什么样的专业适合？

楼主的问题是，你要读金融或是经济PHD。你的数学可能是不够的。单单只是大学的一些微积分加上线代加概率论那些是不够的。你最好要学下 ordinary differential equation +real analysis 最好也要学下partial differential equation 和stochastic calculus

你可能在国内做faculty.而且教的不是econ或是finance. 我说的那几门课你应该知道的，TOP的学校有几个不要求这几门课的呢？

I am probably very stupid regarding to this, but I do not think those courses or backgound knowledge you listed are that necessary. I have many classmates who did BBA in their undergrad study (in US) and their math knowledge were very limited (only restricted to those core math courses in b-school), but they still got admitted by top PhD finance programs in the US and they all survicved for MORE THAN 2 years so far.

Maybe they are super smart, so they do not need to take those courses. But personally i do not think those courses are that important. If I am wrong, I apoloize.
