Ph.D positions in semiconductor lasers, fiber lasers and nanophotonics

Description:There are a few Ph.D positions to fill on the development of 1) high power fiber lasers; 2) high performance semiconductor lasers; and 3) nanophotonics. We are looking for highly motivated students to work on the promising projects.
Candidates with Bachelor or Master degrees in optical engineering, material science, electronic engineering, and physics/applied physics are all encouraged to apply. Knowledge/experience in fiber optics, photonics, and semiconductors is preferred. Hands-on experience on the development of high performance lasers or nanophotonics is highly desired.
