I strongly prefer US for family reason. But the accounting program at Toronto is absolutely very strong. And their faculty is super active and cares a lot about their students. Their impressive recent placement has confirmed that. A guy on the market this year has several flyouts from top schools in US.

Sorry. I don't know if we were referring to the same person. The person I mentioned is "Yiwei Dou" from Toronto. He might be still interviewing. And Berkeley is still interviewing rookie faculty now and at least next week. It is very possible that Berkeley accounting department is not hiring any AP this year because of the financial issues of the school.
