Booth推荐信的问题

What are the applicant’s most salient strengths?
What are their areas of development?
How well does this person collaborate with others?
What is your overall impression of this candidate?
这里第二个问题What are their areas of development? 是什么意思呢？那个their很困惑。是只带上面提到的strengths的么？
不懂这个问题要写些什么。。。

My ex-manager define the "area of development" as weakness or the abilities that you ve developed with him/her in other word.
It coherent to demonstrate both strength and weakness in the recommendation letter.

感觉应该是weakness或者potential area。但是那个their很奇怪啊。不是应该用his/her么。。。用their就感觉是指代上面的strengths啊。

Yes, "their" is strange.
If I were you, I ignore it, and go for "weakness or potential", because these are four independent questions.

这个their肯定有所指的。因为这些问题前面用了his/her，而且也不可能是因为出题的马虎。
如果这个their是指代strengths的话，那就不是再问weakness了。而是上一个问题的延伸。
