申请B－school 的XDJM你们都打算/已经申请专业呀？

我是个比较实际的。所以选择专业的时候首先考虑的是 将来毕业找工作有多少难度。 这点就marketing 来说，好像并不是一个很好的选择。当然了，就业的问题，个人因素本身还是要占很大一部分的。

专业方向当然是accounting 和finance 比较实际。可惜，两者我都没有任何academic or professional background.

就业方向来说，比较想进business consulting company, 这样的话，选什么专业会比较好呀？

有没有人给我一定指导性的意见呀。

same here. I have no accounting or finance background (other than one econ class in college Right now I'm intereseted in general management and strategy (including marketing/b-development). I do want to do a finance major but not because I'm interested in IB or anything like that

i think if you do want to do a finance major, then choosing finance major will be more realistic than general management and strategy even if you are interested in those two. right?

by the way, by IB, which one does it stand for， international business or investment banking ?

I think some schools let you choose more than one majors. Anyway, my main interest (for now) is in strategy/b-development. I know I definitely need a strong finance training because of my own background. So if I can double major I might pick finance depending on what courses are required. However, I'm not all that interested in stuff like equity management or derivative market

IB stands for investment banking.
