SS, per you asked and kongkong57 sugguested, the following is quote from Jon Frank

"Never give up hope my friend! Back when I was applying, my friends were getting in off the waitlists up until the VERY last minute. Keep your eye on the ball, as we say here in the US. Do NOT give up hope. Every 3-4 weeks, send an update to the admissions committee. Keep in touch with them, and let them know your plans! Update them with all your successes--they will continue admitting people over the coming weeks. There is always a good deal of class shuffling throughout the summer. So do NOT give up hope, and keep trying!
