It's true that policy may change anyday. But I can guarantee u it is always easier to get permenent resident status here in canada than us. Many of my friends are gradually becoming canadian citizens. from wat i read abt h1b in the states, it doesn't sound easy. anyway, decisions like this is really up to uself. best of luck!!!

In general, the jobs themselves, either in States or Canada, they are all routine work supposed you are in as the entry level position at the very beginning. In terms of PR, Canada is a good place to acquire it sooner. However, once you have PR or Canadian citizenship, you'll find other probs, e.g. boring(peaceful) life. No big money earning, etc.. If you looks for jobs opps, u can go2 toronto once u get ur degree. Then go to US once u get ur citizenship. long way, who knows, like me, go through all path... then come back to SH again...
