Chicago Booth really surprised me this year with their R1 decisions. Out of about 12-13 candidates (from this forum) that received an interview, only 2 reported an offer. (I know that some of you are going to say that the sample is biased, but the bias should not change much from year to year. And last year this was clearly not the case.) The number of waitlisted candidates is also astonishingly high. On the other hand Tuck, which has a much smaller class size, reported 8 offers on this forum. One word: 晕!
