Columbia is not late top 10. It's #5-7. NYU is 9/10 not 10-20. NYU accepted more than 10 from mainland... that's over 2% out of 400. HBS has 900+ students. 20+ from HBS = 10+ from NYU. Kellogg has 550 students and has less than 10 greater China enrolled... MIT has 3... so NYU is more Chinese friendly than MIT and Kellogg so you can't argue that they don't like Chinese. Just because you can't get into NYU it doesn't mean you won't get into Columbia. A lot of times applications depend on luck (and too many uncontrollable factors). If you like a school you should try so you will have no regrets. |
