What is the most important animal in your country? Why is the animal important? Use reasons and specific details to explain your answer.

in my viewpoint, the most important animal in my country is dog.as the society develops, it acts as a more and more vital part in our lives. it not only companys the old, but also functions to hit crime and save lives in the disaster.
  to begin with, dogs are a close partner formore and more old people. it is a common scene that the old carry a dog to do morning exercises or walk in the park. in fact, dogs accompany the ole everywhere. their companys interest life of oldpeople and reduce their sense of loneliness. in fact, the problem for the old ,such as loneliness , lack of communication, is a serious social problem. otherwises, because their children are always busy woking or for other reasons, they can not give their parents enough care, which increase the loneliness of the old. dogs becomes a good option for the old. they can treat dogs as the relience in the spirits, even as their son or daughter. my uncke who lives alone keep a dog as his family member. hhe even decides to donate his estatses to the dog after his death. it is evident that dogs have an important role in the lives of the old nowadays.
  moreover, dogs are good guards and even good help to hit crime. no matter in homes or other places ,such as factories, office building, dogs function well as execerllent guards. their sharp eyes make criminals afraid not to make a crime. lots of dogs are trained to become the police dogs, they are good help especially in search of drugs. their active performance have expelled the solvement of drug crimes. according to a statisticsdata from the international organization of police, the police dogs have helped to improved the number of solved cases by thirty percent.
  last but not least, dogs have saved a number of lives in all kinds of disasters. for example, in the recent earthquake in wenchuan, dogs have succeeded in save a large number of lives buried in the relics. another moved story always touches me. a dog takes the baby out of a house in fire in time.
  countless examples have show that dogs are important in my country, china. they are our chinese favourite animals.
