NYU申请必须提交official scores吗？？

官网上摘的，对GMAT和TOEFL都是这么解释的：

Stern will not make a final admission decision until official scores are received.

请问这是说必须在deadline前寄official成绩，否则不看材料呢，还是最后要给OFFER再寄呢？

As part of the standard online application, you must either scan and upload your transcripts(s) or complete the Self-Reported Transcript Form. For transcripts not in English, you must use the Self-Reported Transcript Form.

All applicants invited to interview will be required to bring an official transcript in a sealed envelope from each academic institution attended to the admissions interview. These transcripts will not be returned to you for any reason.

所以申请时只要上传scanned transcripts 或是完成他们的Self-Reported Transcript Form即可，不需要official transcripts

但若被邀请面试，要携带official transcripts去面试，他们在面试时看到你的official transcripts才会给你offer

真抱歉!我刚才误会MM的问题了，妳问的是official score，不是official transcripts!

其实NYU的每一个round都有Initial Notification date，也就是说会在这个时间以前发出interview invitation，如果因为某些原因，妳的official score report被delay了(ETS效率真的很差)

NYU会依照你的self report score 来发给你interview invitation，也就是说还是会看你的材料,但不会在看到你的official score前发给你offer！

需要注意的是，GMAT跟TOEFL都是要在Deadline前完成考试喔。

我也是担心toefl成绩寄不到。要是1月初这一轮他们不看我的材料，我就不想申了。

时间太紧了，来不及弄这么多学校。与其跑到第三轮还不如好好准备其他的第二轮。

You don't need to have your official scores delivered before deadline, but they need them as part of package review. This means you can submit online application first, then send the score. It might take them 4 weeks to collect all materials before review process, you have time.Definitely not consider round 3.
