In today's world, to speak well is more important than to write well. Agree or disagree.


Speaking and writing are something essential in human sociaty. It has been said that speaking and writing are a key to the truth of human life and
most importantly, a way to transmit the diversity of cultures. Therefore, a question begging an answer centers on whether it is more important to
speak well than to write well in today's world. Determining the choice will be far from an easy proposition, but is nevertheless one that deserves
careful and deliberate consideration. Some argue that to write well is extremely vital since people have to do lots of paper work no matter on
campus or in a company. Contrary to the opinion of many people is my heartfelt agreement with the idea that to speak well benefits a lot
considering career preparation and establishment of friendship.

Among the advantages of outstanding speaking ability is that it plays an important role in one's career life. First, the extraordinary speaking skills
enable a person to obtain a job easier since he/she could fully demonstrate his/her strengths in job interviews through well developed self
introduction. No one will deny that good expression is a guarantee of showing their abilities and achievements. In addition, excellent speakers are
capable of communicating with their business partners effectively, thus accomplish the program with great efficiency and speed. It's undoubted that if there is no effective communication, there will be no effective performance. Just imagine how bad it is if a leader speaks lowly and unclearly and
cannot put difficult things in a way that is easy to understand.

To back up my idea, it must be relevant to refer another point that speaking well can help people make more friends with others. With
communication skills, people are able to have more harmonious relationship with others and get deep mutual understanding, which are the
foundation of friendship, so that it is more likely that good speakers have more friends with various backgrounds and can often gain the experiences both in work and life from them, such as how to treat the relationship with leaders and how to resolve the conflict between colleagues. For
example, it was the new friend Petter whom I got acquainted with in a communication occasion that helped me a lot when I planed to quit from my old company and search a new job.

The growing concern over the merits of writing well, however, I believe, is not without reason. Obviously, with the aid of excellent writing skills, one can finish a report or a dissertation more quickly and more accurately, thus saves time and enhances the quality of the article.

Considerable though the virtues that to write well results in are, they cannot compete with the benefits that to speak well brings about, when
career development and establishing friendship are taken into account. From what have been discussed above, we can easily draw the conclusion
that to speak well is more important nowadays. So it is high time for people who want to succeed to improve their speaking skills.
