Choose between Yale and Insead...

^_^  OK. It is pity not to meet you at Yale, though. Wish you a happy life in INSEAD.  I am sure you will find a good job after graduation. Maybe we can meet each other in McKinsey or BCG after two years. ^_^

法学院的选修课据我所知还是比较popular的，毕竟法学院是耶鲁的“招牌产品”，其它的我就不太清楚了，要进去了再知道。^_^

I almost made up my mind about Insead so I went out for dinner with my friends tonight and I am confused again!

All of them vote against Insead, many haven’t even heard about it. (they are bankers in various investment banks, accounting firms, all Chinese from main land except for a HK girl. No MC guys)

Here are the reasons:

1.Brand name: Insead is less known in HK / China /US (very different from the previous posts – can someone give more color on this pls). It seems that Insead is only known among a relatively small circle (Europeans+MCs)

2. No internship.

3. Both schools offer similar interview o[pportunities, but the “Yale” name will help me for the rest of my life. Job should not be a major concern for pick-and-choose, but should have a long-term view.

Staying out of the job market for two years is a blessing.

So what are people’s take on that??

INSEAD 是个没有本科的纯商学院，全球影响力当然没法与拥有悠久历史的IVY名校YALE相比。

如果LZ确定自己的未来就是MC，当然是INSEAD。

YALE SOM的多样性iammad提过很多学生是理想主义者，我知道一些som的学生放弃投行的高薪而转去公益事业。这跟大多数人中国人进了商学院只是为了赚更多钱差别很大。在这样的环境中学习两年，对自己的人生是否有更多的影响，启发更多的方向呢。

INSEAD在短时间内培训管理知识，让学生快速完成向MC和manager的转型。而YALE由于传统是人文学科，不可避免的将人文文化注入商学院中。

权衡这些利弊，我想LZ应该能做出选择

其实我心里更喜欢Yale，但是放弃 ranking so much better 的 Insead 不太甘心啊
