i actually received an invites on 03/29. And yes, they sent it on Saturday.
Now this is awkward. There is only 4 business days between now and the final decision date. Does it mean I have to do the interview before 04/04? The only spot I can see available before the decision date is on 04/02 and 04/03. I can't go on the 2rd, which leaves me no choice but 04/03, so probably before I can return from the on-campus interview, they will let me know the result. What a bizarre interview schedule.........
Your interviewer is one of admission officers, so sending to her would be enough. Ask her whether you can update this info to the admission committee. Normally, the answer would be yes.
However, since the D-day is this weekend, almost all admission decisions have been made. So unless you have SIGNIFICANT achievement to update, don't disturb adcoms.

You will probably get the admission decision shortly after the D-day.
