the famous IT companies that started by Stanford graduates:

Yahoo, Google, SUN (stanford university network), VMware(a CS class project, just sold to EMC for 625M USD) .... There are too many....

i'm sorry. but what is your point? u mean there are too many IT companies around, so people with IT background should not emphasize it?
