求地理问题到加州究竟有多远

本人估计加州去不了就想到加州附近的州去，

Get a USA map.

Search "USA map" in google (not necessarily google earth) or yahoo, you can find plenty of maps there.

It is faster than waiting the answers here.

If you don't know how to use google, learn it.

Oregon is the closest but it took me 10 hours to drive to Portland, OR. Seattle (Washington State) is another 3 hours drive north of ortland. The distance of Salt Lake City (Utah) is probably comparable to that of Portland (Oregon) but the road (HWY 80) is very bad. You have to drive across snow-capped mountains (Sierra in Spanish). I drove once to Phoenix (Arizona) but it was part of a week long trip. You should consider taking regional flights.
