It is difficult to define "best in finance." If you mean teaching quality, I believe you can have more finance courses to choose in UST than CUHK. and You can see there are more ( in number) high caliber international finance professors in UST than CU. CU has more finance profs focus on Greater China market. If you mean the number of alumni, CUMBA graduates number is far far far more than UST and HKU. If you count in part time class, there will be even more. If you count in the number who work in finance area, still CU has the strongest alumi base. If you mean career service, UST has built better relationship with finance employers than CU in the past few years. CU has decided to improve this part starting from 2006 so it's getting better now, but still has a big room to improve. For me I'll say CU do have a lot of resource, but we didn't make use of it well, and didn't do a good job in marketing CUMBA's brand for the past a few years. ( Sadly, but it is the truth. ><) One of the major goals of CUMBA from 06 to 09 is actually to utilize our resource well as much as we can, and I believe we are getting better in recent years. As for HKU, HKU provides more general MBA course ( few electives ) and you need to utilize the chance to go to LBS/CBS for more finance elective courses. And if you are really good at networking, you might even find LBS/CBS student who want to help you in landing a job. |
