"When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success." Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position.
In a general view, what can but stimulate a person reach his/her success is work as struggle. Unconventionally, I want to point out, largely, luck forms a decisive factor whether you will hold up prize in truimph.
As we all were instructed in childhood, what we could get from others’ help is limited and irresponsible. The unique shortcut to success is struggle in all the aspects of our lives and this is the only mothed we can control. Take some instances on the adverse side of this saying. Copernicus first formulated the heliocentric model in solar system and persisted in propagandize his theory, what is more, van gogh kept his mind on painting in a special way but he just sold one painting in his life. Both of their achievements were not admitted in their life time. Upon that, what could we do with our luck? My opinion is that luck means doing a right thing in a right place at a right time. To support this viewpoint, we can recollect the experiment of gravitation by Calileo, he gathered myriads of spectators to witness two unequal weighed spheres dropped on earth at the same time and it crushed Aristotle’s theory which reigned 2000 years. Calileo successfully proved gravitation because the gravitational theory was much more acceptable for the governors. But when he tried to reach the field of celestial bodies that was considered as substance of God, he was defeated. This alternative is what I mean Luck.
Furthermore, sometimes Luck plays like an occasional chance making people succeed. From statistics, the innatal circumstances such as family, nationality etc. have already decided most of people’s inclination in the future. After we were born in the world, no other could lead you more probably to success rather than Luck. Luck is so fantastic that you can never neglect the success of Bill Gates, the richest in the world. When Bill’s advice was refused by IBM, himself had never imagined that his micro soft would conquer the whole world. Are you still suspecting the power of Luck?
I also agree that it is presumptuous to judge the factors of success just according to the result. The struggle in work is essential to amass capability for success. However, we also need a key called Luck.
