Topic: Do you agree or disagree if people want to have a good future they should have a careful plan while they are still young.

Should people who want to have a good future have a careful plan while they are still young? Depending on their distinct backgrounds and personal experiences, different people hold different views. While when it comes to me, I strongly believed that people should plan carefully since they are still at an early age. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide concrete evidences to support my viewpoint.

The first and the foremost reason is that a youngster should have a clear blueprint for his/her future. The blueprint, which sometimes be done with parents or friends, must consist of ambition. “Boys, be ambitious!” That’s how William Smith Clark remarked. Be ambitious! How could a man/woman deserve a brilliant future if s/he did not even make a careful plan when s/he is young? Alexander the great knew he will be the king of the whole world at the age of 6! A careful plan for future indicate that the young man/woman is ambitious-which is a vital factor in his/her future success.

Furthermore, if people have a careful plan, they would know what to do and what to get since they are young. Knowing what to do and what is worthy doing, people can lead a much happier life because they know they are heading for their career success. Also, knowing this, people will hesitate less when face significant changes and opportunities. As everyone know, opportunities float away very quickly, people with less hesitation are more likely to grasp opportunities-which is another essential factor in their future success.

Some may argue that the plans made by youngsters are always full of mistakes or errors. Thus there are more disadvantages of planning at an early age. However, I must point out that the plans made when they are young can be revised by themselves at anytime later during their lives. As a result of the revision, plans can keep the rapid trace of modern life.

To sum up, due to the mentioned reasons above, which sometimes correlate with each other to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive than any single one of them, we can safely reach the conclusion that people who want to have a good future should have a careful plan while they are still young.
