以下是引用FINAC在2007-4-14 1:26:00的发言: retail experience almost has nothing to do with IB. If you are interested in IB, there is no reason why not join TS. TS is different from audit, and I believe it's much better than audit. Many people in big 4 complains their job, but the experience in big 4 will prove to be very valuable in the rest of one's life. When you applies for an IB job, TS experience is relevant. Really very few IB is willing to take a career changer - i.e. experience in retail can be a waste of your time.
Thank you very much~~ I think my main problem now is.. do I really want to do IB in future. Due to my major, I used to think naturally that I should be working in finacial industry then I definitely will want to work in IB or buy side. However, the more I know about IB, the more I feel that I may not really want to do this. What if I want to focus on general management? I am guessing retail MT is more relevant. |
