如果很想去top mba, 去big 4 TS还是retail的MT?

retail experience almost has nothing to do with IB. If you are interested in IB, there is no reason why not join TS. TS is different from audit, and I believe it's much better than audit. Many people in big 4 complains their job, but the experience in big 4 will prove to be very valuable in the rest of one's life.
When you applies for an IB job, TS experience is relevant. Really very few IB is willing to take a career changer - i.e. experience in retail can be a waste of your time.

I think my main problem now is.. do I really want to do IB in future. Due to my major, I used to think naturally that I should be working in finacial industry then I definitely will want to work in IB or buy side.

However, the more I know about IB, the more I feel that I may not really want to do this. What if I want to focus on general management? I am guessing retail MT is more relevant.

can't agree more. Although I know little about pe/vc, i have met some hf managers.. they are really smart!

I will see how it goes with my MT interview.

come on. kp hk ts is a paradise. you have life quality there. but on the other hand, you learn far less in ts than in audit, since there are more senior people in the team. So as a junior, you may become a real copy king\queen. In audit, 2nd year or 3rd year, you can be an in charge. In ts, as least manager can be in charge. so don't put too much hope on kp ts.
