there is no clear-cut standard...however, with a GMAT above 720 and TOEFL IBT above 109...u don't need to worry about the tests then...(if ur GPA is low, then make sure to get a higher GMAT then).

The test results alone don't matter...it's ur whole package that matters, esp. the essays after you hv crossed the line for tests.

Show passion, leadership, social responsibility whenever you can...in ur college life, extra-curicullar, work, out-side work, etc....

Show ur uniqueness~!

By the way, though lots of people say it doesn't matter how many times you take your GMAT, as long as you get a high score...

but to my understanding, top schools,esp. HBS, Stanford, really look at that rigidly...(of course, GMAT can matter little, if u do hv other very outstanding traits...)
