D: how to correct it?

2. The Andromeda galaxy, (like) the Milky Way, (is orbited) by several (companion) galaxies but contain about (as twice) many stars.
D :how to correct it?

3. The (layers) of an elephant’s tusk are deposited (from) the pulp, (yet) that the innermost layer is the (newest).
C: how to correct it?

第一题的改法是SUCH 改 SO, 因为SUCH 修饰名词, SO 修饰ADJ. ADV. 特殊用法 SO MANY, SO LITTLE, SO MUCH, SO FEW. 死记!!!

3 题改法.YET 与BUT一样都可以作CONJ.意思也一样.这题的关键是后面有一个THAT. 所以我的想法是将YET改IN. 这样从句法上更通. IN THAT=BECAUSE .

3、改成IN，句意不同。应该把B，FROM---IN。YET没有错。而且句子的确有转折的意思。
