以下是引用Orientao在2007-3-19 13:08:00的发言:how come u relate asking someone else to write the essay with ethical standards? this is really non-sense! and there is always no clear demarcation between consulting with someone on essays and asking someone to write the essays. I am just passing by and have no connection with the louzhu. but your charges is really up in the air. Has any school openly mention that asking someone else to write the essay is against the honor code? Look before you leap. think over before you say something. Have you no common sense? EVERY decent BSchool forbids claiming someone else's work as one's own, it's called PLAGIARISM! There is not a single BSchool that would not consider this a violation of its honor code. Since we are talking about Ross in this post, here is an excerpt from Ross's Academic Honor Code: " Plagiarism is not limited to hard-copy materials, but also includes Web content or content recorded on any form of media. The most obvious form of plagiarism is the verbatim presentation of another person's work without both quotation marks and a proper citation. " The entire document can be found here: http://www.bus.umich.edu/pdf/AcademicHonorCode.pdf Your ignorance is quite laughable. So unless you plan to cite the person who wrote your essay as a reference in your footnote or endnote, I encourage you, all of you, to adhere to higher ethical standards. After all, business schools are places to receive training as a manager, and there is no lesson more critical than the lesson of ethics.
