I don't know exactly what these two programs are, but I know for sure that the PhD program in U Iowa is really realy owesome. They have first-class faculties and large package of fundings.

you can try to contact Dr. Qian who graduated from nankai and now a assistant prof there in finance dept.

I have another question about U of Iowa. How is the overall ranking of its B-school? I can't find it in top 50 USNews ranking.
