想问问大家：这样的背景是不是不适合申请MBA?

本科是Engineering的，一表的院校，期间副修了一个 "贸易" 的专业。本科毕业后一直留在学校工作, 教了四年书, 其间读了一个"教育"的master, 毕业后做了两年半的教育管理的工作, 比起其它的applicants , 实在是很plain 的工作。

GPA----本科: 3.1,  master: 3.7;  GMAT: 750

本来想冲一下top 10 的， 可是看到那么多成功申请人的工作经历几乎清一色的finance, marketing, accounting and IB,  让我觉得自己的经历平淡的没什么可说的，越来越觉得几乎没有优势。看了很多学校的 class profile, business 出身的所占比例最大，其次是IT and Engineering, 就没看到有education 背景的。而我的工作和管理唯一挂钩的就是后来的教育管理，和商业管理差的又太远了！.

大家怎么看我的情况？Dealline is approaching, and I'm getting more and more frustrated

I've thought about it before,actually, the initial motivation is making more money through 2 years quick trainning (I mean MBA), but I can not say that.I need some rational statements for sure.

I only felt that I had no vantages compared with the other applicants. So, maybe top 10 is not good for me.

If you make it, you might still struggle quite a bit in school.  I would recommend improving your English first.

It's not as quick as what your think. 2 years training, which obsorbs almost all of your money. Including your oppotunity cost, which I guess maybe low if you work in academic, your total cost for MBA will be very high. Those financial burden takes several years, or even longer, to pay back. Think it through, if you just want to talk about money.

你的条件除了硕士GPA外其他的基本没竞争力，如果加上不错的工作经历和成就还能申请到学校，只是排名不会太高。

GMAT最好考到600以上吧，550低了点。
