Should we preseve our historical relics or build modern buildings?

Imagine that you are a mayor of an old small city which has not got fully developed,what would you do to improve the situation that the city is in desperate need of places which can be used for the construction of new modern buildings？Will you stick to preserve all the relics of the city？Will you go against the trend of modernism and put your city in a poor economic situation?

   The city,especially the one which is in a shortage of land should ,definitely make use of its old places in which some of the old building are located.Despite the citizens may feel regretted for the sacrifice of their culture treasures,the reason,however, are simple and obvious.

  Why do people still remember a special gift that they have received in a certain situation?Can it be attributed to the special meaning of the present,for example,a gift that does not belonged to you until you reach the age of 18,which means you are not a child any more?Or can it be ascribed to the unforgettable places you receive the gift,like in a foreign country while you are traveling by?

The reasons for this common but mysterious phenomenon may be varied,but probably they mostly lie in the fact that they are just special,that is,they are the very presents that you may easily connect them to a certain factor not easily forgot by the receipient,such as a special day ,an unforgettable experience,or a certain place.

字数偏少了。不过楼主这种数个问句组成一段的结构感觉有点怪怪的，有点别扭。还是稳托些写好。

开头一般这样写，比如说问你Curiosity， 你就可以先解释一下

Curiosity, aside from man’s necessity, is the driving force why a man’s intellect cannot be measured by a simple success or achievement. The more forceful a person could prove himself excel in something, the more he would seek to conquer his own knowledge to overcome it with a higher level of intellect. The greatest rival of a wise person is his own limitations. Learning process is an endless process. A person's curiosity leads him to question his own existence and shows discontentment to what he already achieved.

然后再开始examples把上边提到的方面都带一下，就是满分了。

Buildings are always shining the aesthetic views of their era. However, as the time running on, they were left behind the modern time we do live in, known as old landscapes and historical relics. In certain cases, you may even feel direct conflicts between modern and aged buildings. We can either keep the buildings for the memorial purposes of that era, or just regard them out-of-date.

加粗的地方举个例子，然后说观点，一般可以在最后加上句 Anyway, it depends. For it is such a complex issue that we cannot reach a conclusion with only pieces of words.
