MFE is not the best choice any more. Too many Chinese and Indian have rushed in.

For you, the best school outside of Harvard is Columbia, NYU and Wharton. Try to stick with top NYC schools. It will help you a great deal.

However your UGPA, GMAT and TOEFL are not that strong, luckily your working experience may help some. It is going to be a tough one for you if you are aiming at top 20.

anyway, try to pick schools close to NYC. That is the bottom line. (Note: except Stanford)

Undergraduate GPA of 84 at Tsinghua is quite good. I know many Tsinghuaers who rank top 1 in class with only 85/100 GPA.

主要是太喜欢tuck的环境了，对乡下的小学校有种莫名的偏好和好感。

把CHICAGO换成COLUMBIA,原来chicago在黑人区，不太安全阿。

尤其大家在大城市住惯了的

去了适应会有很大的困难

毕竟不是短期度假

FINANCE的CAREER GOAL不申请CHICAGO?

Agree with eternalwind. I have
lived in small town the first year when I came to US. When I was in
China, I also dreamed of the small university town life, but after I
arrived, I feel it did not fit one who was from big cities. Everything
is so slow and troublesome. No much fun, no much place to visit, and
life was boring.



BTW, Chicago is surrounded by black area, but it is not that bad. After
I came here, I feel the campus area is safe enough (police patrol all
the time). Also, Columbia and Wharton are similiar, so do not worry too
much... :-)



UCLA is a very good place, most people like that. If not for finance, I will definitely stay there... :-)
