請問UCB托福

小妹想申請2007年Berkeley 的MBA...可惜托福失利.只考了250. 現在正全力衝刺GMAT.希望可以拿到至少700.

想重新報考CBT TOEFL... 可惜已經沒機會...報不到了..

小妹提供一下我的背景.希望各位大牛們給點小妹一點意見啊...

1. W/E: 目前有5.3年工作經驗: 目前:2.4年在一家法國半導體公司工作-從SALES ASSISTANT-PURCHASING-

ASSISTANT OF THE CHAIRMAN .(前兩年同時也擔任公司福利委員會的委員工作)

之前: 2.9年在一家外文文教事業體工作-擔任教育訓練工作

2. 10 MONTHS--Language program in the USA.

3.GPA: 3.8/ last two years: 3.8

4.大學主修: International Trade & Finance

5. MBA focus: marketing

小妹想請大家給點意見..有無希望可以申請到Bekeley??? (當然小妹了解essays.interview也是很重要) ...還是小妹別做白日夢了....

250 is kind of low. but it should not be main factor of being rejected by UCB

I don't remember there's any minimum TOFEL requirement in Berkeley application. 250 is kind of low, but it should not be a deciding factor in your application. GMAT is much more important.

Your GPA is very good, if you get 700+ GMAT, your academic side should be quite strong. So, get a good GMAT score, then spend more time on your essay.

UCB is copying Stanford's policy these days: Good GMAT is the main benchmark.

Thanks so much for all of your precious advice. the required minimum score of TOEFL is 570 for Berkely( it is announced at its website); however, based on such competitive schools as Bekeley, it is better to have higher score. So, in this case, I sould not need to worry about my TOEFL? Instead, I have to try to get 700+ for GMAT?

gmat is important but not the critical one. My opinion? Try your best to get above 720, then essays becomes the top priority.
