有USC 和UT, 不记得她最后去了哪里

有了绿卡，找工作非常容易，这个时候我觉得地理位置更重要。如果我是你，我会选择USC。我姐姐说Austin最近几年失业率较高，所以房价一直在跌。但是学校宣传资料说是most livable city。。。

不过你最好问问现在在就读的UT学姐们. 国内信息不全，唯一的依据就是排名，可是排名这个东西我觉得又有个标准差。

Tough decision.

Both are quite good school, but their competitive strategy is distictivelyt different. McCombs Accounting department gained fame mainly due to its strong accouting research as indicated by faculty publication citation, especially in the area of behaivor studies, while Marshall has extensive corporate ties. As far as I know, quite a few managing partners of major public accouting firms in the western coasts are from Marshall. So if you want to seek an PhD degree in accouting, McCombs is undoubtedly the first choice. However, if you want to enter industry, Marshall may be more efficient. Just my $0.02.

从费用上讲，USC只要两个学期八个月，学校给的费用大约是$47,000，UT至少要上一个summer session,我大概算了一下应该要到$55，000-$60，000

If you'd like to pursue a career in academic field, like PHD , definitely UT

But if you'd like to find a job after graduation, ranking is really not that important in accounting profession. A good location will provide you with more oppotunites in local industries, as well as accounting firms. If your english skill is strong, it's very easy to get into big 4 as a UT student. But there are not many oppotunites in industry in Texas. However, good program repution helps you a lot when you seeking jobs in big famous companies.

The professors here are great and people are very nice. The sunshine is too strong, though

Austin is a middle size city, quiet and peaceful. Without a car, life will be a little bit boring compared to big cities.
