However, we have to face the reality - HBS's admission formula exists. If you have done your homework, you will find that 1/3 of HBS's admits do their under. at only 10 schools - Ivy/MIT/Stanford. (this never happens at Stanford or Wharton or other top schools - of course, not because Stanford cannot admit so many Ivy grads) According to a book by a HBS '94 graduate, more than half of his classmates came from banking and consulting. In the industrial companies, more than half came from only 4 companies: PG, GE, IBM and GM.
Especially, HBS is very conservative in admitting Chinese students. |
