Well, this is on a relative basis, as virtually all top15 schools are also top finance schools. what is more, for non-top10 programs, location and financial aid are more important, and my recommendation is leaning towards these two factors.
For example, rochester is strong at finance, have some financial aid, but with remote location. one of my friends who graduated from there told me that the so-called strength in finance, which applies more to academics, does not matter a lot in job seeking. He and many other Chinese students finally got satisfacory jobs but worked very hard on their own. |
