请问大家的推荐信是都写的特好吗？自己都看了吗？

我的推荐信是鬼子老板写的。我也不敢要来看，但是我很不放心他会给我写成什么样。

主要是如果他写点什么不好的，但是一起竞争的人是国内老板写的都特好的推荐信，我怕会影响我的申请：（。

不知道我是不是想的太多了？

个人观点。老外的推荐信写得都很一般，中国人写得很好反而会让adcom觉得很奇怪。我看到很多写essay范文的美国牛人的推荐信很一般。我的上司写推荐信的时候反映也很平淡。

另一种观点是，有的老外非常看重对下属的推荐，推荐信写得非常好，比中国人写得还好。比如读过MBA的老板，可能会从MBA的角度评判你何不合适。

个人觉得，现在你能做的就是放下心来写essay。推荐信置之度外。

Talk with you boss how he is going to evaluate you (first ask him if he would like to talk about his with you, of course). This is not against the rule.

With the premise that the recon is true refelection of you, you can ask him/her to provide a specific stength of you with supporting stoies, which you can NOT put anywhere in your essays.
