don't know the answer to your questions. but I also apply to sloan, and I won't bother to report my TOEFL score since Sloan does not require it.
what paper-based test score would be comparable to 270? 640? If so, it is good enough. I think unless it is otherwise stipulated as a requirement by the school, toefl score would not be a barrier. to my memory, toefl requirement for some schools is:
hbs: people with toefl lower than 260 would be discouraged to apply
stanford: no less than 600?
kellogg: average score is 280
chicag heard that chicago required the listening part no less than 60, but seems it removes this requirement this year.
so, I don't see the necessity for you to retake with a 640+. but you can always check with the adcom of your target school to get a relief. |
