As I know, some schools have released the topics of this year essays, such as Wharton, Yale, Columbia, Michican etc.. What you are expected to do now is to visit the web sites of these schools, and find out the topics at the admissions section of these sites. You may be asked to register online. Then these school will send you some application information. Enter the web sties in which you are interested along this post:

FYI, Duke will release its essay at Sep 1st, although its R1 deadline is the same as Michigan.
