Some people hold the opinion that governments should spend as much money as possible on developing or buying computer technology, other people contradict that the money should be spent on more basic needs. Personally, I think the allocation of money for the governments is depends on the actual conditions of each area.

On one hand, in China, the basic needs of people who live in some small coastal cities, such as Wuxi, SuZhu or Zhenjiang are out of question. Most people live a better life. During these years, a lot of foreign investment came into these cities. There are many new international companies set up offices in these areas. To improve the quality of the people in these cities and make them work better in the new situations, it’s the right time for the government to spend money on introducing new science and technology, such as developing or buying computer technology.

On the other hand, in the west inland, many people are still living very poorly. Some of them even can not eat enough. Many people are unemployment. Many children can not go to school because they can not afford the tuition. All of the problems could cause the unstable of the society and crime rate may goes up. The task of the governments of these areas is too meet people’s basic needs.

In a word, we can reach a conclusion that the allocation of money on computer technology or basic needs is different due to the unbalanced development of east China and west China.
