Hello there!
Great to hear from you!
So the first thing that you are right about is that you need to choose where you want to go and what you want to do based upon your LIFE, and not what people tell you. Sure, Harvard is a better school than McCombs. But if you want to concentrate your life on your family, then that is a fine decision too.
Your profile does seem pretty good. And I do think you will have a shot at M7 if you want, if your GMAT is high enough. But you have lots of alternatives. For example, if your profile is very strong and you apply to non-M7 schools, then you have a good chance of getting a scholarship. And you can make THAT your goal as well.
If your BF will be applying to MBA programs at the same time, then the best would be for you to send me your and his full profiles, and to come up with a strategy that will allow you to apply together!
You have a LOT of options here - applying to one year programs, to lower-ranked programs to get scholarships, with your BF….
And if you tell me more, I’m sure I can help you further,
Best,
Jon Frank |
