Hello there,
So my first comment is don’t worry about he LORs now. It’s too early. But DO worry about the GMAT. A 600 won’t be nearly high enough for you to get into the schools you mentioned. You have until July to study, so there is no reason for you not to come back with a totally amazing GMAT. First take care of this, and THEN worry about everything else. And take a course if it will be helpful for you.

Best of luck,
Jon Frank

Hi Jon,

Very appreciated for your advices. Im actually taking the GMAT this weekend and trying to squeeze in this coming Fall semester. (which i know its the last train to cactch on...) I will definitely try my best on GMAT and hopefully I can end up with a score at least above 650. dont know if this is enough tho..
In this case, do you think get the LORs from same level colleagues(those can read n write in english) is preferable? or do you think i'd better get them from my manager?

Thanks a lot in advance ;)

Hello there,
Unless you have NO bosses, I would not recommend getting a recommendation from a Colleague. Your recommendations should normally come from a supervisor. What you can do is ask your Japanese boss for a recommendation, and then have the recommendation translated, and mention that it was a translated recommendation in the application..

Best,

Hi Jon,

Thank you so much! I will do that. I will ask my supervisor instead of my colleague.
Hope the translation will work well.

Best,
Enika
