Well you never know till you try! What I mean is that if an MBA fits your goals, you should take the GMAT. Now I’m not sure that your goals of transferring to PE are the most logical for an application (because literally EVERYBODY wants to get into PE, just cause its good money). But I’m sure you can advance your career.
So take the GMAT!
And let’s see what happens.
