这里的spread 为什么不是spreads呢？

SPREAD是过去式，当然不能加S。

spread 是和and now grows 并列。前一个当然是过去了，有点像GRE的填空题。

同意iron的解释，注意grows前面的now,从逻辑上分析前面是过去
