有没有cornell的朋友?

cornell 或 UNC+20K? 大家有何指教?

我倾向于cornell 但听说其冬天狂冷. UNC 的 20K 是个诱惑, 毕竟也是个很好的学校.

去CORNELL吧，起码是常青藤名校。

UNC给了许多人全奖，如果每年给20K还值得考虑一下。

I agree with you that reputation is important for MBAs, at least for the first a few years after graduation to land a good job. And since i am planning to return to Asia, Cornell appears more attractive.

I am a career switcher... worked in construciton industry for the past 5 years but found enthusiasm in business development... There are Johnson Graduates who have similar background and have joined company like Exxon - it is encouraging.

But meanwhile, i think my background suggests real estate be another career option. UNC has a reputable real estate focus and many of its graduates went into the industry pretty smooth. I know Johnson has a seperate real estate school but so far i havent heard of many of its MBA graduates ventured into real estate...

Anyone who are from same industry/interested in real estate/career switchers are welcomed to share your thoughts and your career plans...

join me to cornell! I am admitted by the program mentioned by ball2003 this fall, actually it's master of professional study in real estate...I dont know very well about the prospect of graduate of this program in US, but I confirm that I love the courses and ways of  teaching in this program...armed with these and the cornell's reputation  as well, I think it's enough for me to start a successful career in RE in mainland or other places...

How is life at cornell, living, studying, and playing...? I know it has one of the most beautiful campus in US.

glad to hear that u r going to cornell... its real estate study is very reputable in US. and real estate industry is HHHOOOT there! I am currently in Johnson, more than happy to answer any Questions: there is due degree program of M.real estate and MBA in 3 years. As matter of fact, one of my classmate is doing so and will finish next year. his intern is in IB in HK.....

Cornell Hotel School is probably one of most prestigous schools in US. it should be very good extension. if you are only interested in courses, Johnson did allow you to take 15 credits.

one thing for sure - Winter is kind of hard - not the cold, but snow... we just had a light snow on April 1st... ...another thing to consider: ITHACA is in the middle of nowhere. man, you are stucked here... though 4 hour from city...

not sure who and why you mentioned to Exxon Mobil - Exxon recruited from johnson every year for Corp Finance in Treasury every year, but one person / year.. Exxon Corp Finance( treasury) recruited in 12 schools for 6 positions( johnson, darden, stern, duke,U Mich.)...
