There are more than 300 programs in U.S. but mainly BA, MS, or MBA degree. But there are a few Ph.D. degrees with Financial Planning Collateral or FP degrees. I have seen increasing job openings in this field. Look at this job opening at UIUC. http://www.ace.uiuc.edu/Jobs/ACE_Fin.pdf
my idea: get a CFP designation - in the US, as far as I know, that's the admission ticket to this field. it's way more useful than any master's degree, especially you already had a bachelor's degree in finance.
