Full time or part time MBA

Does anyone here ever discuss about the difference between full time and part time MBA? Most of the U.S companies sponsor their employee to take MBA program, meaning that you won't sacrifice two year's income plus the huge amount of tution's fee.

I know that part time program does not have placement service and does not give you enough time for networking. Other than that, what's other disadvantages? Does part time program have lower admission requirements? could any one of you provide any insight information about top 10's part time program?

It's certainly a very tough decision, and it's difficult to know whether one's decision is right till years later.

Thanks for robertchu for poviding the links. I agree with most of the posts. It's up to ur personal choice. In general, PT make more sense if u want to climb coroprate ladder, and FT will benefit those career changers. It's true that as a chinese, it's not easy to stand out of crowd from MBA types of jobs. Most of post MBAers just land some finance back office jobs which are as borning as IT programming. While at the same time if you spend that amount of effort to change your life, you could make more than 100kUS$. I know some programmers working for goldman sache could earn as high as 200k annually with the benefit to claim part time/excutive MBA costs. But as far as i know, only a few successfully transfer to equity analysis.

A tough decision!!!
