I've been thinking whether I should take a MBA Program, I've just had two years work experiece, which also means that I don't have many resources to finance the degree. A MBA will definitely cost a lot, tuition, living expenses, etc, and I will have to sacrifice two years income. The reason I want to take that is because I want to change my major into Finance, and a MBA is by far, the most appropriate program I have ever known to achieve my goal. In that it will not only provide the specific knowledge of Finance, but also provide a holistic understanding of this area. However, after considering the fierce job hunting situation, I can not approve myself that a MBA is the most efficient way to achieve my goal. Even if I do land a job successfully, a total cost of around 100thousand dollars will still be a big burden, let alone the probability that the job can not make me satisfied after two years intensive study.
