US News BS-school Ranking Analysis 94-10 (4/15/2010) Update

记得以前有nn横向的比较了BW，USNEWS的排名，然后得出了个weighted排名。我最近比较无聊，刚好又找到一个网站（http://consusrankings.com/category/business-schools/us-news/）比较完整的记录了US News历年的排名，所以就做了纵向的analysis。

这里面缺了00，01的数据，06，07又不齐。我就是简单的把number avg一下，然后分成3个时间段weight一下，用的是10% - 94-98；30% - 99-05； 60% - 06-09. 对于以前没在50名内的学校，且没有5年avg的，我一律给60来算。总体上说top10，top20都比较稳定。

不知道这网站提供的数据是否准确，但说到底这个也就是给新来的同学做个参考的。

4/15/10 update:
- update 07 detailed ranking
- rearranged weight by 10%-94-95; 20%-96-02; 30%-03-07; 40%-08-10
The ideal methodology is to weight 40% for the most recent 3-year average; and 30%, 20%, and 10% to the prior 5-year avg. (15-yr+ should be a good reference to evaluate the ranking.)
- Assign 50 for schools in the 30-50 bracket missing previous ranking
- Assign 75 for schools in the 50-75 bracket missing previous ranking

If you guys can find the missing ranking data, I'd be glad to add them into this master sheet.
