may i consult how to do u handle essay 2-personal statement? do u select one to write or select several to handle? is the total words 500 limitation?

For the 2nd Yale essay, I choose my own topic, not the topic from the Yale's list. You write only one, not several. Yes, the word limit for both Yale essays is 500.

hi ruiyu,

we have very similar background (i'm also in biotech). do you still plan to continue in pharma/biotech after MBA? Does Yale have a concentration that may tailor to our interest? healthcare maybe. Anyway, I should return to my essays. Due TOMORROW!

To jane: glad to know you have the same background as mine. yes, I am planing to return to healthcare industry, either big pharma or leading biotech company after MBA. I don't think Yale has a concentration specific for healthcare, however, it has EMBA for healthcare management. You don't have to worry about the interview invite yet. I got the invite two weeks after the deadline, so take it easy. belive youself.

to toolate, I have been working as a research associate for past 5 years. Never manage people.

to hjhe: in my previous post in this thread, I wrote something about the Yale interview. It was not my best performance, casue I didn't prepare much. The questions were all general type questions. However, my interviewer asked me to solve a puzzle at the end. I guess she wanted to know my analytical skills. It was a pity that I didn't work it out. I was never good at solving puzzles.   It was a blind interview.

to bluemunich: I was interviewed on 11/21 and got the admission call on 12/21.
