Both institutions should be included. On Professor Chen's blog site, you can see both. Unfortunately, while some media include both, some others just pick one. CKGSB is following up to have this practice corrected.

The problem is that the People's net's reporter has got the affiliation wrong. When we cite this report and we know that the reporter has got the affiation wrong we should correct it.

To make it more accurate, I have changed added Professor Chen's correct affiliation in the parentesis and pointed that out that the original information is incorrect in the previous post. Now it goes like this

陈志武是美国著名华裔经济学家，目前是耶鲁大学管理学院金融学终身教授。[LZ按：原记者唐勇此处有误。陈志武是耶鲁大学管理学院金融学终身教授及长江商学院访问教授。]

1。我在CD论坛经常介绍了中欧的教授，课程讲座，实习公司，校园生活，解答了申请人的很多疑惑，我想经常关顾CD的朋友都有目共睹。

2。我只不过指出了某些人发表帖子时的不当之处（删改原作标题），并不是盯着比别人的好。

3。好的商学院当然要有好教授。但你说“长江教授整体水平是中国其他学校望尘莫及的”，我不能认同。（我想不仅我们学校的教授，而且CD上的绝大多数朋友都难以认同你的说法）

However, the original title was misleading as it provides incomplete information with respect to Professor Chen's affiliation. Typically, one should quote as it is and put [sic] besides Yale and then put something in the parenthesis to show the correct affiliation. I believe that would be the most rigorous way in English.  I do not know how people deal with it in Chinese journals. Maybe people in this forum can share the best way to deal with it.

To reframe this,

1. I know that Professor Chen is jointly employed by Yale/CKGSB

2. There is a report/article which says that Professor Chen is a Yale Professor which is incomplete

3. When citing this in English, we can put [sic] and put a footnote to point out the correct affiliation

4. How we deal with it in Chinese?
