OG语法有好多wordy awkward神马的解释，请问大家是如何处理这部分的知识点的理解的？

比如：

At the end of the 1930s, Duke Ellington was looking

finish the many pieces he had started but never

completed.

(A) someone not only who could arrange music for

选项分析：

A. 这个选项wordy。Not only...but also...后面的内容需要平行。

B. 正确。Not only...but also...后面的内容平行的很好。

C. 除了平行的问题外，in finishing 要改成in order to finish, 这样能更好地诠释因果关系。

D. that being someone who 太wordy了。本句不平行，并且应该使用in order to。

E. being someone会引起误解，觉得这是修饰Ellington的。不平行，in order to。

A 和D 选项 解释的好坑爹啊。。。。不知道以后碰见类似的结构该怎么办：直接因为wordy就pass吗……

比如这一题，A中not only ... but also的并列结构分析一下，就发 ...

觉得你对D的总结好好~旧帖子被回复，好开心~  突然有了个想法，似乎同位语/同位语从句的使用反反复复就是那么几种，不符合的其他情况都叫wordy了。
