Seriously, rankings are important, but probably not that important. LSE and U Zurich are actually in different contexts, at least geographically.

In the end, it is your choice. Maybe ranking and "prestige" are more important to you and your circumstances. Then take LSE. Good research can be done anywhere.

EPFL would also be very nice, IMOH. Pretty strong research teams there.
SWI is more than just being decent.

All I am saying is that,
1) it is your decision which one to pick.
2) prestige may be important, but not always. You are not looking for a job after your master. And the potential PhD selection committee members for your PhD application would know the difference between LSE and U Zurich.
3) I understand the importance of 名气, however I cannot agree with that. It does not make much sense arguing about that.
