贴下刚写的东西,integrated writing是OG的联系,听不是很懂,看来听力要加强了这几天. The speaker raises serious counterarguments against the reading paragraphs by providing entirely disparate evidence regarding the altruism. To begin with, the reading passage argues that in groups of meerkats, a certain individual acts as a standing guard for no rewards. On the contrary, the speaker points that the standing guard usually can gain the best food and they can get abundant food as well. In addition, regarding the point of the reading passage that after the standing guard issues and alarm, then it might probably be caught and eaten by predators, the speaker holds an adverse opinion that actually, the standing guard would gain more opportunities to escape alone because the predator’s attention is on the majority after all. Lastly, the speaker challenges the validity of the argument in the passage that human being’s altruistic behavior provides little reward to the one offers them. Contradiction what is stated in the reading passage, the speaker strongly points out that actually, there are quite a few rewards for these behaviors such as they can gain a sense of self-worth and other people’s approval, which are, quite valuable to some people. The speaker simultaneously gives an extreme example of someone gives his/her child to a certain relative, then he/she can also gain some benefit. Thus, based on the discussion demonstrated above, the contents in the reading passage are thoroughly jeopardized by the speaker for three aspects. 大作文 In today’s society, adolescents are always confronted with the dilemma to choose whether gain independence from their parents earlier or later. This problem is the much debated one in that it affects adolescents in their daily lives. The young man has to prefer one to another although some may have no opinions about this question at all. Before rendering my opinion, I think it is necessary to take a glance at the arguments of both sides.
It is quite probable for average children to choose gain their independence earlier because of the obvious reason that the young are usually eager for liberty and out of control. It can be given by my example that I also experienced this process as well. When I am eighteen and I am enrolled by my university, I cannot wait to move out of my home and live in my dormitory with my roommate. Everything is so fantastic and fresh for me for the first three months, I plunged myself into the totally new campus life and I had so much fun cause I do not have to tell my mom and dad every thing any more.
But at the mean time, although earlier independence has some advantages, it also has many drawbacks such as… As for me, after my hasted moving out of my home, I came across lots of difficulties such as I had no idea how to operate the dishwasher and washing machines, which brought me an embarrassing time, especially in the laundries. And I had to come back to my family to ask for help when I was lack of money or I run out of all of my allowance. Therefore, we have no complete/absolute evidence to suggest that earlier independence is always better than later independence. What is more, that innate quality of later independence, is often underestimated or mocked, in other words, if you notice the invisible benefits of choosing later independence, you can understand it more deeply.
Here I would explain a few of the most essential reasons. The main reason is that later independence would bring a young man more time to be prepared for their real independence. To illustrate this, there is an appropriate example that is very persuasive: my uncle. My uncle now is a very successful professor and he did not choose to leave his parents until he graduated from the university. During this period, he need not worry about his rent or tuition although he took some part-time job as well. He focused most of his time and energy on his future career, his ideal is to become a paleoanthropology professor so he did it in the end.
Saving time and energy is only part of the important aspects, and another equally significant role of choosing later independence lies in the development of a young man. He could gain wise advice from his parents, he might avoid premature mistakes, and he need not worry about making a living too early.
If all the factors above are considered, we will find out that the advantages of later independence outweigh those of earlier independence. Consequently, from what we have discussed, we may safely come to the conclusion that choosing later independence is a rather wise decision. However, I have not denied the opinion that choosing earlier independence. I must admit that people can do well without earlier independence, but no one can ignore the added satisfaction and fun offered by earlier independence. All I want to say is, as far as I am concerned, such experience as later independence will definitely be helpful for me in my later life. |
